This weekend, hundreds of AMAZING Bloggers will be arriving in Nashville for the 2010 BlissDom Conference sponsored by Blissfully Domestic. I am not one of them. For those of us gals that did not get the chance to go, Household6Diva is hosting a Blizzard Bloghop meet and great. I am excited to meet some new blogging friends. If you are a blogger come on and join in. If you aren’t one yet, head over to Household6Diva to check out all of us gals that had to stay home.
My name is Lori Zimbardi. I am the wife of an amazing husband and father, Danny and mom to two amazing girls, Perryann who just turned 16 and Gracie who is 4 1/2.
I work for Sandals Church in Riverside, CA on our Care Team, helping to transform the lives of those in need in our church and community.
I love to write and love blogging. I have met some amazing women in the past few years, friends that I could not imagine my life without and it is all because of our love for God and Blogging. God and Blogging-sounds like a book title, huh?
I write about my family and our adventures, my love for maternity undies, pie and manditory mom uniforms. No topic is off limits and I probably share a little too much, like my abundance of unruly facial hair and my struggle to forgive.

Lori – Just hoppin around and love your blog. Love the name and I am a fellow “follicle queen”. That is what my family calls me – LOL!! Luckily I have a friend who does laser and electrolysis CHEAP for me or I would be broke. Have fun hopping!

Some things that I didn’t put on my post but want to share with you because it makes me feel like we have so much in common….I have one single black hair that grows in on my chin and I have to pluck it out periodically.(usually after hubby sees it and reminds me! lol) I also have a little girl who will turn 5 in May and since I’m now pregnant again I may just end up sharing your love for maternity panties…although I have to admit I never broke down and bought any with the other two.(was that overshare?) I look forward to reading more and getting to know you better!
Oh, and I’m extremely envious of the way your bangs lay so perfectly to the side like that…my hair will not do that no matter how much I try to get it to!

Hi, Thanks for visiting my blog–the one with all people wearing antlers and funny Christmas hats in our family portrait! I hopped over to return the visit, and have enjoyed my time here. I loved the maternity undies post! Let’s hear it for comfy undies! I’m also with you on the mommy uniform. I have adopted my own–it’s called elastic-waisted, stretchy knit pants and a t-shirt. Not very attractive, but it’s my daily wear unless I go out in public. On a really bad day, I have been guilty of wearing it for a quick trip to the store…I’ll be back over to visit. “Congratulations on the baby!!! My hubby is from GA -Duluth in Gwinnett County. We live in Riverside, CA. We miss the south especially the sweet tea. Chick-fil-a’s is just okay but the closest we get to the real stuff out here.”
Thanks so much for commenting and for the Congrats! Wow California is a long ways away from GA! Haha we are not used to the south, we are both from up north, but my husband is stationed here so we are getting used to it! It is very different! I hope one day you get to come back here though!
